Was running down the lake about 3/4 speed. Did not hit anything, but all of a sudden, motor kicked out of gear. Motor runs fine, but prop won't spin in forward or reverse. Took prop off, it is not spun. Splines are in great condition.
Got it out of the water and when it is in gear, you can roughly spin the prop by hand. Cannot get gears to engage.
Had the carbs cleaned/rebuilt about 2 weeks ago. Don't know if anything they did then would have affected the shift lever. You can see the shift cable move the rod.
