I have two identical 1989 115hp engines (oc147---) I will be rebuilding the better one and saving the other for parts.
I thought I read that it would be possible to use the two carbs from the top (from parts motor) and put them on the bottom of the rebuilt one, abandoning the 2+2 system. Would that work? Would it mess with other systems? Would it Idle too high? Has anyone done this and how does it work? Thanks,
