Hi everyone just joined the forum has been very interesting and helpful, would like some advise if poss. Bought a sun bird 18.5ft sports boat[2 berth] with 4.3 v6 and alpha gen 2 leg, bought it with a electical fault the leg would not lift or lower after you had pressed the trailer button, turned out to be a faulty isolation switch. I have ordered impeller kit, have watched a couple of vids on it, would like to know if when dissmantling and reassemdling if i need to have it in drive or nuetural, have installed impeller before on my other outboard of old boat, it pumps water fine anyway just want to play it safe as it has been stood around for about 6 mths so going to go over all of it before it take it out, and what would be the min hp aux motor for this sports boat, hope someone can advise thks for your time and effort
