I got this boat from someone who had it sitting in his back yard letting rot to nothing. He said he had it for 5 years atleast and never had it in the water. So i talked him out of it to rebuild my self. Now im getting to the point that I will need to register it but I have no Idea what year or model this boat is. I have searche this boat from head to toe and there is no data plate of any kind or any name. I am not that knowledgable on boats but I was hopeing someone out there who is could help me out to figure what type and approx year this boat is. Thank youphoto.jpgphoto.JPG2.jpg

Re: Help on Identifying boat

Every time I see a boat like this I think 60's-70's Starcraft, Falcon maybe but there are several from that era that look alike.

I would say probably early to mid 60's. Is it fiberglass or aluminum?

The Boat is fiberglass.

Getting a bill of sales wont be a problem so the only thing I need is what type boat I have to get the registration.

Re: Help on Identifying boat

Im in NC. I already talked with boat registry and they told me to just get a bill of sales with the previous owner stating he has never used the boat so he never had it registered or title and he has no known history of the boat and for me to send it to them with the approx year and model of the boat and they can register it for me.

Well ... in that case, you can call it whatever you want! :D TN Registers boats in a similar way ... so no telling what the original manufacturer was sometimes.

Start hunting around in the library at FiberGlassics.com and see what you might find. I was kinda' thinking Thompson or Starcraft, but I'm not so sure of that.

Welcome aboard!

Can't help ID but it doesn't look like to difficult of a project once you get the registration straight.
