4.3 GL engine removal - Wellcraft excel

Hi,

Need to remove my v/P 4.3GL engine from my boat. First time for me. The engine is connected to a Cobra SX stern drive.

All the ancillary bits are removed (manifolds, wiring, coolant hoses etc) is it now just a matter of unbolting the engine block where it joins the stern drive (what I would call the bellhousing in a car)?

Are there any important tip or tricks that I need to know. Or can anyone suggest a useful guide to removal.

Remove the drive (10 minute job), and remove the 2 nuts and large flat washers that hold the flywheel cover housing to the inner transom plate. Then lift the engine straight up.
The flywheel housing (bellhousing) remains on the engine.
