just bought this 14 ft starcraft fishing boat lst wk went out everything fine today i was wide open maybe 4 min and think i hit a plastic bottle i did hear something pop i think and the engine then sputtered a little i throttle downed and it would not go faster than 5 mph after? and the engine seemed either flooded or could not stay running idle the die finally got it bck up to 5 mph bck to dock that was at full throttle ? ON these TYPES OF MARINER OUTBOARDS do they have just the plastic hub and no sher pin right? could this be what happened striped the hub? would that cause the gas issue? thanks for all or an advice B.T.W anyone know where to buy a tilt lock pin for 1996 mariner 20 hp or iam going to just get all thread and lock nuts? thanks again ...
