I have a 1995 Johnson Faststrike 175 hp and everytime I started the motor I would have to go prime the bulb and it would take forever to get the fuel to get sucked into the eninge. I replaced the bulb and now its not sucking anything. I took the hose off of the engine and there is no fuel being sucked up. Please help???

You have the arrow on the bulb facing the engine I assume? It also helps if you hold the bulb vertical with the arrow pointing up while you pump it, you could try that. If that doesn't do it maybe you have an air leak at one of the hose fittings between the bulb and tank. You're sure that you have plenty of gas in the tank?

If you have a built in tank check the anti-syphon valve in the tank fitting and also the fuel pick-up screen in the tank.
