I just bout a 1988 Thompason with this engine. Have not put it in water. I have gotten ot to start a couple times but once we shut it down we cannot get it to restart. We have replaced the points, condenser, distributer cap, coil. We were not getting spark originally. We know have had it started using a hot box or jumping it. We have a new battery in there. Any ideas????
