I have a 1990 johnson 70hp vro that blows the 20 amp fuse that is located on the outboard. I thought it was a loose connection where it feeds the under dashboard fuse panel - but it blew again . Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah, something is blowing the fuse. Disconnect everything from the battery, except the two battery cables for the engine. See if it blows again. If it does, then see if it blows when you are trying to start the motor or operate something like the choke. If it just blows without doing anything, then I would say you have a dead short somewhere in the harness.

My 150 calls for a 30 amp 32volt fuse under the cowl have you checked the specs for your engine?
