i have 2 questions, where does the tach wire(s) attach to motor? what does link and sync mean exactly?

Tachometer sender wire will be grey and attach to one of the yellow AC wires on the rectifier. Link and synch means that the idle timing spec is set when the carbs just start to open. In addition, max timing is set and throttle stop is set and idle stop is set, all correctly.
