Can anyone help me source a replacement for the part in the following photos?

It's the fuel connector for a Quicksilver tank used with a 15HP 2-stroke Mercury outboard from 2001. It leaks badly and I'd like to see if I can replace the connector rather than the entire tank itself. Even just the proper name for the part would be helpful and I'll search for vendors later.

Is the leak coming from when you connect the hose, the actual part it's self (such as a crack in the part), or the gasket around the connectors base?

It's leaking in the corner, where the gauge connects to the bottom plate. I'm guessing after 10 years the plastic has broken down quite a bit.

I'm striking out finding the integral fuel gauge assembly alone. You may want to see if a Mercury dealership can get you one. From what I have found, I believe the part number for the entire tank assembly is 859065A 3 or 1265-859065A 3. With that info the dealer may be able to find individual parts for the tank. Are you sure its the gauge assembly, and not the rubber gasket that's leaking? If this is a bit of an older tank, the gasket may not be happy with ethanol fuel if that's what your using. Replacing the seal (you may have to make one) may fix it.

Thanks for that info! I've also been unable to find the assembly alone, but I'll take your new information to a local dealer and maybe they can help me out. I'm doubtful that it is leaking at the gasket, but maybe that's something to consider.

I have the same tank and it leaks at the gasket. I am going to cut a new gasket out of some gasket material I bought at Advanced Auto to see if I can stem the flow.
