I have a 2004 mercury 90hp 4stroke that's carborated. Its seems that cylinders 2&3 are not firing on time. So far I have replaced the plugs(with 1.1mm gap), plug wires, and the ignition coils. I also checked the vent tubes for the carbs for obstructions. If I remove the ignition coil wire for cylinders 2&3 the motor runs smooth with only 1&4 running. If I do the opposite the thing will barely run. If all are on the motor studders and shakes. Any ideas of what I need to look at next???
