from what i can see of cylinders and cylinder walls i got lucky as there is no visible sign of water intrusion damage I have question about what is behind the rectangular covers on power head Will i find water jackets to clean and should i remove them to verify water passage is unobstructed I plan to pull the head or what on a 4 stroke would be considered the head and clean it. The water getting to piston or wherever could of been coming from many surfaces inside the exhaust area Would i be wise to leave gaskets carbon and all and take to a good merc mechanic to see if he can showme where i had breach Im a little lost as to what is next. any replies would be helpfulll.
