Islander Transom angle

What degree of transom angle does the I/O islanders have? And what is standard for an outboard transom? Have not considered this in my outboard bracket plan. I saw in another thread that 12 degrees was optimal for an outboard, is it?

Without looking back on my thread...

As I was measuring out for the keyhole cut I want to say mine was at 13 degrees.

I'd think that would be the same angle for a factory built outboard boat, eh?

you might look at the sites of some of the commercially built brackets and pods to see if they have info
