[ONE engine (port) when trying to start it, the starter drive enguages, but no power going to the main starter stud. thinking it was a defective solonoid i had the starter rebuilt but was still unable to get it to start. If i cross the starter stud and ignition wire the starter starts.I have power leaving the start side of the ignition but no power feeding the ignition side of the solonoid coil. Could this problem be a open safety neurtral switch? and if so where might it be located? Peter

It would be inside of the controller. :D giggle the handle. It may be slightly off center

Thanks for the help. Found out my problems , (2) 1st shifter was not neutralized, 2nd and biggest problem was a problem was the starter solonoid. Had power from start side of key to starter solonoid and activating starter drive but was not leaving solonoid to go to the starter. I removed starter and sent to rebuilders. I also had to jump start engine to get selector to neutralize before i could solve the second problem. Thanks for your help until the next time.
