I have a brand new 60hp Bigfoot 4 stroke Mercury. Today when I went to the dock I unloaded the boat and trimmed it down. I hit the switch to start it and it blew the 15 amp fuse in the motor. Replaced fuse and able to operate trim. Hit starter blew it. Did this 4 times. Was told by my dealer that it was a diaod wire. They have had this problem before. My question is what is the fix and why does this keep happening?
