Hello all, hoping someone can help me with this.

I have a Penta SX-M drive on a 4.3GSPLKD, and I am trying to change the drive rotation by reversing the shift linkage on bellcrank per the instructions in the Volvo service manual.

The manual says to remove the cotter pin on the bellcrank while holding the slotted end with a screwdriver, which I did. Now I cannot get the bar to budge, it doesn't look like its threaded, is it just press fit into the drive housing?

Any tips on how to remove it?

Should just push out after you remove the cotter pin. Corrosion may be holding it.

Thanks Don, I didn't want to use too much persuasion in case there was something else holding it in there. I will hit it with some penetrating oil / heat and try it again
