gallons per hour?

I have a 1974 40 hp johnson just wondering if anyone could give me an approximate on how long it will run per gallon of fuel?at full speed? Thanks for any help.

A rule of thumb is 10% of horsepower or 4 gallons per hour at WOT for your motor.
