Hi all...

I replaced the carb(new Rochester 2GC), installed a new fuel filter in the mechanical fuel pump, and installed a new fuel/water seperator. I filled the seperator filter with gas but I need to know how to prime the remainder of the system as I'm getting no fuel to the carb.

Thanks in advance.

Keep cranking! You could pull the fuel line off at the carb crank till it squirts. If the carb needle is stuck you won't get gas to pump to the carb.

Get a squirt bottle squirt bottle.jpg and squirt some gas down the carb. Start it and it should run for a couple of second. After 2 or 3 attempts, it should run on it's own. If not, you have a problem.

Perfect...I have 50 or so of those bottles(own a BBQ business).

Not just for sauce anymore.

The squirt bottle(Don S) worked like a charm. 2 healthy squirts and fired right up.

Adjusted the idle to 550RPM, Dwell to 31Deg and will time it tomorrow.

Thanks to all for the help!
