Ignition switch wiring

My wires for my mariner/yamaha 55hp ignition switch is red, black, brown, blue, white, green and salmon. My switch are 7 pole push to choke. Poles are A, B, C, I, M, M, S. I need a wiring diagram."

Those are non-standard wiring colors, or at least some of them are non-standard. You can remove the cowling on the motor and see where they run. The ign switch wants A- ign accessory power for gauges; B - battery +12VDC; C- choke solenoid; M - Ground; M- Ign killer wire; S- Starter solenoid. Not sure what the "I" is for. Does the Ign Switch directions tell you?

The ign switch on the link has only 6 connections. No A connection. The I connection has the same function as the A connection.

The wire colors in the like you provided are partially incorrect for old Merc. Normal old or new Merc colors are different than what you cited.

Maybe the guys in the Yamaha forum can help.
