Hi Guys
Can anyo. ne tell me how to correctly ajust my shifter I just bought the boat it is a 3.0 omc with a omc drive but the problem is that the shifter is not straight up and down when in neutruel it is on the reverse side. both forward and reverse work great but the stick is just out of place where it should be. Another problem I have is that when I try to trim up or down it blows all of the fuses under the dash, so I am guessing the pump is froze so I want to pull it out but where is it and what type of system is it I do not see any cylinders. You will have to excuse me I am a merc guy just trying to figure omc out
Thats in advance

The trim switch goes to relays so a frozen pump is not your problem. Could easily be that the insulation has worn away from the wires inside your control.

As far as your shifter is concerned, if you are that far out of adjustment, it is likely you have other problems like a bad lower shift cable.
