Good morning all
I have a 98 120 Sunday I went to take it out & noticed grease coming out of a small hole in the top of the lower unit. I since from reading it sounds like a seal is bad. So I took off the lower unit saw oil on the drive rod and impeller housing. But when I drained the oil out of the lower unit grease there was no water.
So now to figure out how to Tear apart the lower unit to replace seals are the bearings pressed in? do I need any special tools? Is there something else I need to check up in the motor first?
