Will a 1971 Merc 200 (20 hp) Drive Shaft Housing fit on a 1972-1980 Merc 200?

Trying to determine if a Drive Shaft Housing from a 1971 Merc 200 will fit on a 1972 up to 1980 Merc 200 (20 hp). The part numbers change from 1971 to 1972. Yet, any lower unit from 1970 - 1980 will fit.

Can anyone confirm this?
