I have a 1974 mercury 850 thunderbolt that was running good but had some bad wires on the internal harness, can anyone help me on wiring up a new harness it seem I cant get any spark to the plugs now...
I presume that motor has distributor ignition? If so, the white wire supplies voltage to the switchbox whenever the ign switch is set to start or run. The red wire is always hot. CDIElectronics has a troubleshooting procedure for your ignition.
hi i am having the same issue what did you do to fix it any help would be greatly appr. i have the exact same issues every thing else is working just no spark and internal harness is replaced
