1972 SternDrive 140 Trim Limit switch

I have a 1972 Star Craft 120/140 Drive in which the Trim limit switch that sits at the top of the gimbal ring has gone bad. ( Too Corroded to clean). This part is no longer available from mercruiser or anywhere else that I have contacted. If there is anyone else with this drive that has had the same problem and has come up with a fix could you please contact me, or reply Thank you. Joe

Your not going to find a way to power a Gauge,.....<br /><br />I've drilled,+ tapped a small hole at the back of the drive,+ screwed in an Auto Antena.....<br />It takes a quick glance back to See where the drive is at........
