Cdi power paks

Hello all, well i recieved my power pak today which i ordered last week, i orderd a cdi pak for my 98 115 intruder , well i opened it up it was in a evenrude brp box , it looks like a cdi pak which i saw on the cdi web site it is a blue pak with orange wires for the coils one ground wire and the plug in has a orange sheeth over the wires but no cdi sticker as a matter of fact it has no numbers or stampings on it at all, does cdi make paks for brp now and if they do is it the same as what they sell as after market by cdi, would this pak if made by cdi for brp still have the new updated digital electronics they also did not charge me the brp price tag they sold it to me for the cdi price any info would put my mind to ease in that should i sand it back.

Not sure, call CDI and ask them, they are usually pretty stright forward and will ansewer your questions.

The way I hear it, yes, they are now the manufacturer of some BRP components.

They were but BRP now has it electronics made in South America....
