fuel primer bulb won't build up pressure

When I pump the primmer bulb fuel just runs out the bottom carburator instead of building up pressure. Can somebody tell me what could be the cause?

Welcome to Iboats.

Sounds like your carburetor needs to be pulled apart and either have the needle, seat, float cleaned and adjusted, or possibly replaced. Or if it's been a while, might be a good time for a rebuild (rebuild all carbs if there are multiples).

What are you working on? (Make, Model, Year, HP, etc).

"92" 150 hp mercury Thanks for the advice, I had just heard that from someone else. Think I'll take it to our local shop, though.
