I have a 2008 5.0L MPI that will not get the temp above 125. I guess the t-stat must be stuck open. I did confirm the readings with an IR temp guage. Question is should I leave it alone till the end of the season or go ahead and change it? I just got this boat and did notice it uses significantly more fuel than my older same model but with a carburator.

Fix it now, the ECM will cause it to use more fuel because it sees a cold engine. As the engine warms up, the ECM cuts back on the fuel.

Got it changed in no time and now it runs a smooth 160 :)
