How can i tell what year/ make my 25 hp johnson is without a plate on lower unit housing or any model or serial number on motor? its a old one parts match early 70s but how to find out for sure. I have been trying to match up parts but they match many different years. I have been looking all up and down this thing and cant find nothing that tells me jack diddley sqwat. again any help would be great. thanks...
