I have a 1986 dt 75, the engine has a new fuel pump, filter, all new lines, plugs, and the carbs have been cleaned out. The engine runs good at idle and runs good until you get to about 10mph and then it flat lines. The compression is with in 5 psi. Just trying to figure out what to do from here.

how mave the carbs been cleaned out? sounds like fuel starvation, if the 3 carb bowls weren't removed then you have to start there. the fuel turns to a solid(gel) over time and blocks the pick up tube. i let my dt 75 sit for a year and same thing happened cleaned bowls, runs like it used to

I have the exact same motor.

I had a similar problem.

Clean and tune your carbs.

It's really not that hard and it pays off to do so.

I have not had problems since.

Also, add some seafoam, or starbrite, or some other additive to your gas.

That has helped solve my problems.
