Hi there first time on the forum and looking for some help. I have a 1984 DT 9.9 Suzuki outboard with electric start serial number 00993-410443. It starts and runs great when it's cold but as soon as it has run for maybe 5 minutes or so it stalls and won't start again until the engine is cold, there is a very faint spark when it's warm but not enough to keep it running I guess. I've been told it's probably the CDI but before I spend $300 non refundable dollars on one I wants to get some more opinions or options that anyone can think of. Or if you think it is the CDI does anyone know of a good used one for sale. Thanks in advance.
