1979 evinrude misfires every 20 seconds

35 hp motor and every 20 seconds it misfires. this doesnt happen at an idle or below half throttle. above half and high rpms it will. i scheared the key under thr flywheel and replaced that. the flywheel only goes one way so i dont see that being the problem. any ideas?? Thanks!!

Sounds like an ignition miss. Pull one plug wire off at a time when it acts up and see if you can narrow it down to a cyl. Or else put a timing lite on it and look for black spots when the prob occurs.
