140 hp evinrude. 1985 tilt lifts the motor. but doesnt lower

I have a question about the hydraulic lift for my 140 hp 1985 evinrude. It lifts but wont lower. I hear the relays click. Im sure i have power going into the two wire motor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you hear the trim motor running when you try to lower it?

Motor doesnot sound or hum in when trying to go in down position. Runs fin going up

Try swapping the relays and see if it works in the other direction.

Yes lowers now it has a bad relay thankyou sir very much
