scam using amazon

I recently got a e mail that looked like it was from amazon.com ( may 4 ) saying that a order was canceled, and the provided link was a redirect to one of the on line cut rate Viagra spots and 4 days later I get another one. Being a bit concerned because I do order from amazon I looked up their contact phone number and gave them a call. The customer service rep knew it about and it is a scam thought I would pass it along.

I got the same e-mail. I had not ordered anything so just deleted without opening. I was curious about it though, glad to know what it was.

So, will they be changing the name to Scamazon? Oh, and by the way, how many little blue pills did you buy?:p

There are literally scam email for everything and I get them all day long. Facebook, Linkedin, Netflix, Yahoo, your bank, your credit card, just about anything you can think of. I delete all of them and unfortunatly have to suspect everything is phishing.

I've won about $1,000,000 in Wal Mart gift cards over the last couple of months, that is if you believe my spam folder.

After I opened the scam-mail from Amazon,I realized it started out "dear customer" -That's not my name! The real Amazon email I received the same day starts out with my real name.

Been getting both the Amazon and Walmart emails for months now, they end up in the spam folder and get deleted, most of the time I never see them.
