Hi all, this is my first post after having read at least 5-billion posts. Really appreciate all the good talk.
I recently got a 2006 mercruiser 3L and I am going over it with a fine-tooth comb trying to figure it all out.
This is stumping me. Between the mechanical fuel pump and the oil filter is a space with three screw holes, one hole on top, and two holes on the bottom and they form the shape of a pyramid. Nothing is there which is really strange. Could someone tell me if this is normal, and if not, what should be there?
I can take photos tomorrow but I have to figure out how to post.
