I want to mount a kicker on a '19 1990 bayliner CC with a 120 on it. I have a 2hp Evinrude. Is that enough to troll with?

If the E2 is enough would a metal plate mounted to the transom with a wood block (2x8 or plywood) attached to it be strong enough?

My father in law is giving me his old trolling motor he replaced. My boat has a rail around the bow. The only way i see it working is to remove a section of the rail. Is there a way around that?

Yes, yes, and probably.

Got a pic of the bow?

Re: Three Q's

This is the best pic I have right now. I can get a better one tomorrow if you need. Its the trollong motor that has to swing up and out when its raise and lowered and uses foot controlls. The surface of the bow is narrow and the rail is right over it. I could possibly block up the motor from the deck to the same height as the bow, but I still think the motor needs so swing higher than the rail. He still has the motor so I cant say for sure.
