Hello all. I live in Georgia on Lake Lanier and I am looking at a 2004 Sea Ray 185. The boat has a 4.3 Mercruiser with 186 hours. Comes with trailer and Bimini top. Boat looks to be in excellent condition. It is a dealer boat and they want $14,900 drive out. Is this a fair price for the boat?

It is now in the boating season so it may seem a little high, but the real value depends on other options the boat may have, like extended swim platform, ladder, snapin carpet, snap on bow cover, snap on cockpit cover, custom snap on boat/mooring cover. You can use NADA.com as a guideline for relative value of boat and each option.

Also, what can the dealer provide by way of assurance for a good troublefree first season.
