Hello, I have a 77 with a ford 302 (175hp)

I need a new fuel filter / water seperator deal and I can never find the correct part number for it.
Anyone with my same setup know that part number?

Thanks

unfortuneately it depends on the boat manufacturer and engine brand OMC, Merc etc.. .. It's best to look at the number on the one you have. write it down in your manual? maybe have it on a paper with your other commonly used part numbers ? plugs, wires, etc..

mine is an OMC. and there is no number on the actual filter itself.

Mine is not one of the oil filter types. it is a can that you unscrew similar to an oil filter, but then it has a large filter inside that you replace.

Is it possible to replace the whole thing with an updated filter system? It should just bolt up and you would have two lines one in and one out.

Got a NAPA store close by? Napa Gold #3271 is what I use in my '76 175hp.

I haven't asked about the canister as mine is in good shape.
