Hi, I have a 1989 Sunbird 170 bow rider. The last owner cut down the side windows
on the boat for some reason. Where could I buy either used side windows or the
channel and glass/ lexan to make the windows myself? What is the difference between
Lexan and plexiglass? Thank you, John:confused:

Re: Windshield side wings

here is an idea for the channels. http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/default.aspx?GroupID=27886&History=39326:26922&pom=0

if you go to a local glass shop and buy some plexi or lexan, you can cut it yourself with a circular or table saw. For all the bigger your windows will be, either will be fine, but both can scratch easy and the sun wont help the looks of its finish. Lexan is 100 times stronger than plexi, and the price shows it!:D I personally would make a cardboard pattern of the glass that you need and take it to a glass shop and have a 1/4" piece of tempered glass made for it. Look around on crl's website for other channel materials that might match your current windshield framing. They have all sorts of stuff there! Good luck!
