2011 Evinrude 115 HP problems

I got this motor on 2/26/12, and it might have 60 hour on it. We use it everyday for commercial crabbing. Its smoking like a freight train, is burning oil and gas like crazy, and it has a terrible exhaust black film on the lower unit. It has cut off 2 times on me. Dealers saying it could be stuck in weatherization mode, any opinions? Switch to this from a Honda:facepalm: wish i never had! It just doesn't run like a Honda.:confused::confused::confused:HELP

hm... i,m wondering why you do not deal this problem with the dealer since your etec should still have warranty or not ?

A 2011 with 60 hours on it take it back the dealer you bought it from or find another dealer that is willing to fix the problem. Have you called BRP?
