Default lifting a pontoon boat in a boat house

can you lift a pontoon boat by the deck, i.e. say two wires connected to eye bolts on each side of the deck a few feet from the front and rear? my situation does not allow me to use straps under the pontoons. thanks for response.

I would say depends on how and where eyebolts were attached. I would hate to give advice that could get ya in trouble, just kinda seems like a call one should make in person. The general Idea seems feasable though, if attachment points were such they could handle the load and disperse the weight away from the imediate attachment area.

I've stored a 20' MonArk pontoon boat from the eye bolts most of the time since 1996. The eye bolts were done at the factory and are through 3/4" pt ply floor. No signs of strain or weirdness.
