force 35 hp with clicking problem

Hello all, new to this forum just got a used boat and motor this week. The motor is a Force 35 hp model 358f91b can any one tell me what the gape on the plugs should be ?

And the big question is what is making the "tick tick noise". I found a movie on utube that is exactly what I have.
Any help you can give would be approached

1. Have you asked a Dealer's Mechanic this question?
2. Plus, is this un-common to other Force 35 HP?
3. If you pull the plugs to get more of a free spin will you hear this noise?
4. Have you listened through a stethoscope (running & free spinning to try and trace the noise?

to answer your question I have not yet taken to dealers loc. But I picked up a manual po force.

also i will try taking the plugs out and see if I can located noise. This will take a while because in the last week we have had 5" of rain in 12 hours got 6" of water in a finished basement a big mess.
