1999 mercruiser 4.3 cracked head relplace with 2000 S-10 blazer heads

i have a question if anyone knows about going from regular rockers to roller rockers or if anyone knows the pushrod lengths for an s-10 blazer compared to the 4.3 merc? we have no compression because push rods are to long

flat tappet and roller cams require different length pushrods. however just changing rockers going from stamped rockers to full rollers may require different length push rods. sometimes a +.100 will be required. you will have to measure them.

my first thought is you have the valves set too tight.
