My Cruisers Inc has Mercruiser Alfa 1 outdrives I have twin inboards. The problem is the shift control. There is a round ring on the inside od my shifing levels that when pushed in Keep the engine in nuetral so you can give it more gas to get it started. Proble is starboard engine will not disengage so I can put in in high idle to start. The ring just won't push in far enough to keep it in nuetral. Any suggestions?
