I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. If I'm not please forgive me.
I have a boat (19' Carolina Skiff with trailer) that I sold for my boss. Buyer is picking it up Friday. We are in SC but the boat is registered where our corporate office is located in IL. I have the title for the boat. I ran across one problem, IL you don't need a title for the motor. SC you do. Corporate Office doesn't have a title for the motor. What do I need to do regarding paperwork to make this easier for the buyer to register it here in SC?
Do I just write up a bill of sale? I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!
