I bought a Lowe with a minn Kota edge 70 lbs 24v ... Had a real problem with the foot pedal... The on switch so so high up on the pedal and I had to push it almost flat to turn it on that it made it hard to control... Soultion... Turn the pedal over and so you can remove the on/off button... There are 2 springs on it... I removed one of them.. The one not over the switch.... Then I inserted a small self taping screw in the square inside the other spring... Make it up flush... Reinstall the button... Now... I barley have to touch the button to turn the motor on and can heel it while running it.... Works great now..
