I have had fuel issues over last couple excursions, i.e. bogging down, limited throttle. Finally took my carbs apart & checked fuel/water seperator today. Noticed few small pieces of orange, firm, yet flexible material in fuel filter. Looked like a gasket of some sort. Took off fuel pump & noticed 2 dime size orange bladders? diaphragms?, one facing inside, one facing outside. The outer one was missing some chunks, which were subsequently found in my carb jets.Nice to be able to find problem so easily, but on evinrude parts site, don't see breakdown of fuel pump assembly. Anybody know if fuel pump repair kit contains these? Sure it contains gasket & some O-rings, but need those orange bladders. Just wondering if anybody has had these apart before.
