hi all,
since only a few days i'm a happy owner of my very first boat - a 3.5 meter long (11.5' ? - i'm in Europe..) fiberglass "sport boat"
the motor i had to get separately - i opted for a Chrysler 64HD, 6 horses.

the boat has an old-style, pulley steering system and a throttle cable installed. neither really fit my Chrysler 64HD.. with the steering part i will probably just make an adapter, it doesn't look too complex..
my problem is with fitting the throttle control cable.. i'm not even sure if 64HD was designed for it - the original throttle control is not on the main handle but on a separate lever. there is, however, a hole under the main handle that looks like it could fit the cable.. i'm hoping you guys can help me to find a way to interface the two things. here are some photos inside the motor (the blue lever is the throttle lever):
