Steam out exhuast 105hp

Hi guys,

My 105 seems to make steam out the tell tail on idle after running for a little bit. I've changed the pump and housing and rebuilt the engine.

I'm getting a good steady flow of water from the housing. The exhaust housing and head and even cylinder block are fine to rest your hand on while running/straight after running at WOT. Once i noticed the steam i stopped the engine straight away and checked it out.

Steam out of the tell tale?
Is the whizzer installed on the head?
Or steam from the holes in the back of the motor?
Pics?
Steam from a pee tube?Should never have steam from that.
Steam from the holes in the back of the mid leg.That's ok.J

Whats the whizzer? I think its important to note i have no thermostat installed.

It's steaming from the holes in the midleg cover, (that pass through the midleg cover)

it was fairly cold when i took the boat out last (aprox 11deg C) my friends chrysler 115hp was not steaming thats all, the boat did not seem to play up or be overheating apart from the steam, I just thought it was unusual. The water leaving the midleg cover is warm but not scolding.

Steam from the mid leg is OK.
Some people install a tell tale.
It's a hose connected at the thermo housing.It indicates if water is pumping.
Install the thermo!!!!
The motor runs better at a set temp.
