I am buying a 1965 14 ft and it comes with a newer one cable push pull steering system. I am looking to power it with a 1970 40hp Evinrude. What is the cheapest way to convert the steering on the Evinrude? I was looking at the T&R marine plate. Is that best way to do it if I am looking to save money?
